Derek Haney is a physical therapist, SRPT Partner, and serves as Clinic Director of SRPT Stephenville. He evaluates and treats patients with musculoskeletal dysfunctions, balance and gait disorders, cardiovascular problems, and post-surgical patients. As a partner in ownership of SRPT, Derek helps guide our company in its mission, vision, and core values. As a clinic director, he oversees the operation of the physical and occupational therapy staff, therapy technicians, and front desk operations in Stephenville. Derek has been a PT for 15 years. Hardin-Simmons University was the first school in Texas to offer the doctorate-level degree of physical therapy beginning in 2003. Derek was in the 2nd graduating class of students, earning his title in 2006. After working in the Texas Hill Country for 2 years, Derek moved back to his hometown of Stephenville in 2008 to begin working at SRPT. He became a partner in the business and clinic director in 2016.

In his 15 years of experience Derek has accumulated more than 25,000 clinical hours seeing outpatient orthopedic patients. He is certified in dry needling and has also enjoyed time teaching orthopedic assessment at the collegiate level at Tarleton State University. Derek's favorite part of being a physical therapist is seeing patients return to what they love to do and enjoying life again. The joy of helping people, as well as first-hand experience as a patient, sparked Derek's interest in pursuing the field of PT when he was 15 years old and still drives him to continue learning and growing in his field to this day.

Derek is a loving husband to his wife Jenny of 17 years. They have four children: Jo, Elizabeth, Nolan and Rebecca. When Derek isn’t busy working and chasing kids, he loves to play golf. He prides himself on his “wealth of knowledge in a variety of subjects nobody cares about” such as random facts in sports, geography, history, pop culture, etc. He also enjoys being active in his church.

Cody Caraway is a physical therapist who strives to provide the most effective, evidence-based individualized care in order to return you to your goals in better condition than when you came. He is a recent graduate and brings a ready-and-willing attitude, a dedication to continued learning, and excitement for providing specialized care for patients and their goals. After observing numerous medical professionals in a military context, Cody is driven by a passion for independence and continued improvement provided by the one-on-one, hands-on approach only physical therapy can offer. He holds a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from Texas A&M University, Class of 2017, and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, Class of 2021. After graduation, Cody recognized the opportunity for professional growth by coming aboard with SRPT and jumped the team in March 2022. In the future, Cody aspires to seek specialization in orthopedic and sports clinical specialties.

When he is not in the clinic, Cody enjoys playing guitar, piano, or drums with his wife, weightlifting, developing skills in carpentry, and walking his dogs in the countryside.

Kari K Horton joined Sports Rehab & Physical Therapy (SRPT) in the summer of 2021, after her family moved to Stephenville, Texas, from California’s Central Valley, when it became clear they no longer wanted to be one of those “Crazy Californians.” Kari and her family love Texas and are having fun working on their small family farm and exploring the beautiful state!

Kari earned her Occupational Therapy degree in 2002, from Colorado State University. As an Occupational Therapist, Kari has worked extensively in both the medical and educational settings, treating adults and children with a variety of diagnoses. She began working in hand therapy in 2007, and quickly realized this was her passion! As a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT), she is a recognized specialist in treating conditions involving the entire upper extremity.

Since moving to Stephenville, Kari has established the Hand Therapy Program at the SRPT Stephenville location. Kari provides state-of-the-art and evidenced-based hand therapy to patients of all ages that have sustained injuries to their elbow, wrist, or hand. She is able to utilize her specialized skills and knowledge to fabricate complex custom static and dynamic splints and is certified in the Graston technique for tool-assisted soft tissue mobilization. One of Kari’s greatest strengths is her ability to make meaningful personal connections with her patients which helps put them at ease. She goes above and beyond to maintain close communication with both her patients and their doctors to ensure the very best care is provided.

Troy Kimbrough is the home health physical therapy provider for SRPT. He serves most of Erath County and parts of Hamilton County (around Hico). He has been a part of the SRPT team since 2000 and has treated patients in a variety of settings including inpatient, outpatient orthopedics, acute care, and home health. Troy has almost 30 years of experience and was voted Best Therapist of Erath County in 2021.

Troy is originally from Crawford, TX, but has claimed Stephenville home since 2000. He and his wife, Robin, have been married for 25 years. They have 2 children Karsyn and Kallan. Troy enjoys any activity outdoors, barbecuing, and spending time with family and friends. He loves going to the mountains and hiking. Troy also takes pride in being an active member of the Faith Lutheran Church.

Missy Mincey is a physical therapist that strives to help her patients reduce pain and address their individual goals, to allow them to return to doing the things they love. As a previous collegiate track and field athlete, Missy specifically enjoys working with athletes and runners. She finds joy in helping an athlete like herself expedite the process of getting back to a sport. Missy graduated from the University of Texas at Tyler with her Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology in 2016 then earned a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of North Texas Health Science Center, 2019, in her hometown of Fort Worth. She has continued her education by becoming a certified provider of dry needling. Missy joined the SRPT team in June 2019.

In her free time, Missy and her husband, Justin, enjoy getting outside, going camping, hiking, and playing with their son, Jackson.

Tracy Ragle is a physical therapist and Clinic Director of SRPT Weatherford. Being a third generation native of Parker County, she never intended to live anywhere else. Tracy joined the practice, formerly known as Weatherford Physical Therapy, in 1983. The focus of her early career was rooted in acute care with an emphasis on burns and trauma. For the past 22 years, her patient population has consisted primarily of outpatient orthopedics. Tracy says that her extended association with this company can be credited to the core values of integrity and empathy promoted by company leadership. This longevity has also afforded me the benefit of treating multiple generations of the same families.

When not fulfilling work duties, my husband and I enjoy living on a rural property with an English Mastiff named Mikey and participating in shotgun sports.

Shelby Cornell-Price, is a physical therapist who enjoys working with a wide range of patients. Over the last 3 years practicing physical therapy, Shelby has treated everything from the pediatric to the geriatric population with varying degrees of orthopedic and neurological issues. Shelby takes pride in helping patients with pelvic health needs and athletes. She initially became interested in a career in physical therapy in high school seeing that she enjoyed learning anatomy and helping serve others. She appreciates getting to know all different types of people and helping them return to the activities they love. She believes she learns something new with each patient she works with. Shelby graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science from Tarleton State University in 2014, then with a doctorate of physical therapy from Mary Hardin-Baylor in 2018. Shelby began working as a PT for SRPT in 2019 but she had previously been part of the team as a PT Technician 2014-2016. She earned her dry needling certification in 2019.

Shelby was in dance from the time she was 3 years old and was once captain of the Stephenville High School Stingerette drill team. She also played soccer, volleyball, and basketball growing up. Shelby enjoys travelling and spending time with her husband Colt and her children Lincoln and Poppy.
